SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION OF HIV/AIDS DRUGS BRINGS MORE HARM THAN GOOD
The scientific innovation of HIV/AIDS drugs is not entirely good in the help towards eliminating or reduction of HIV/AIDS cases in the Country.

Reports of availability of drugs that suppresses HIV/AIDS in the market leads to people being careless because people tend to think that the disease is no longer threatening as such a survey done on youth suggested that they fear more of pregnancies that HIV/AIDS.

The availability of those drugs have significantly contributed to the increase of HIV/AIDS cases because a person who has money with intent to revenge can affect other people he/she can easily do so.

The major contribution of new cases of HIV/AIDS is sex compared to other cases I belief being a religious state be its Christianity, Islam, Hindu etc it advocates for abstinence until marriage. Sex should be for married people and being faithfully in marriage because of the availability of those drugs they contribute to moral delay in our society.

Kenya as a country depend heavily on donor to fund the budget for the fight against HIV/AIDS and the purchase of those drugs what if today we don’t receive the donor funds, what will happen to those who are under treatment and for  the new infections?.

For the above reasons I conclude by saying scientific innovation brings more harm than good and if the government wants to eradicate HIV/AIDS then  it should engage stakeholders to come up with more robust measures to curb HIV/AIDS

    Scientific innovations gives hope to human kind because it does produce protective measures, in which we can save human kind from this virus. Also has helped in introducing a way of an infected patient can have sex with a person who is negative and still not transmitte the virus.

    Some research facilities have dedicated solely to do research to find the cure for the virus eg viiva research center in UK have only managed to get a drug to suppress the virus but no cure yet.

    If their could be no any scientific drugs innovation many people could have died due to HIV pandemic. The scientific drugs innovation has therefore played a mojor role in prolonging the lives of infected persons, infected mother's giving birth to uninfected child and also the infected can have sex with uninfected without transmitting the virus to uninfected.

    Even though drugs are available doesn't necessarily mean that pple should live how they wish in terms of having active sex partners.It means that one should be aware of the preventive measures to reduce chances off contracting hiv.Most of this drugs are usually expensive.

    Scientific innovation of drugs has helped the HIV and AIDS infected people to use ARVs which help their immune system to keep fighting the disease therefore making their bodies remain strong, before these drugs came we could easily recognize the infected people because their bodies were always weak, and there was high death rates.but these days you cannot easily recognize a HIV and AIDS infected person who is taking ARVs.

    More than 30 scientists are focused on advancing HIV research to improve the current drugs and eventually find cure.
    The current ARV medicines help the infected live longer and healthier, which is recommendable since 30years ago when HIV and AIDs was discovered.
