HIV INFECTION

According to studies anyone can get HIV but you can take steps to protect yourself from getting infected with HIV.people can prevent spread of HIV in the community by getting tested and knowing their partners status, awareness should also be created to educate people on importantces of  proper  use of condoms and warn  people on re-use  of condoms from anal to viginal or using it more than ones.
As people infected with STD are at higher risk of getting infected with HIV they should be tested and treated for stds.incase of pregnancy the mother should start medical care right away to prevent transmitting to the child during birth,Labour or even breastfeeding.people should be educated on less practice of high risk sex
Communities should encourage  male circumcision practices as circumcised male are at low risk of getting  infected with HIV. People should be open minded  and honest with their partners by telling them if they are infected with HIV. By Naomi  ngata

  1. Even if an STD infected person gets treated he/she will be infected with HIV because anyone who is currently having an STD or who has a history of STD is at a high risk of being infected. They should abstain from sex or the married ones should be faithful to one another.

    1. I agree but lets talk in the real sense .In this generation people love having sex ,it is not a surprise to get a young girl aged 12 years old not virgin or below am not saying this to offend anyone but look at our generation ,the media and all sorts of movies ,they somehow encourage young people to engage into sexual relationship .The only solution (but not the only one) is to encourage people to use condoms and to totally abstain.

  4. People infected with STDs should not only be tested and treated for STDs but also HIV. Reason being one might have had a history of STDs therefore very much prone to have been infected with HIV.
The community should not only encourage male circumcision but also, break the norm of using the same blade. Let them be educated on the importance of using a new blade per individual

  6. If a person has a history of STIs, he/she should be careful since they are at high risk of getting hiv. Also pregnant women should be tested to avoid transmitting the disease to the baby if they are hiv+. The young people should abstain if they are not married, one cannot die due to lack of sex, or better use condoms

  17. The biggest mistake people make is to ignore the warnings and sadly that's what our generation are good at...
They will always find reasons as to not abstain... Moving from one relationship to another and also having multiple partners...
I think that only youth can communicate to youth that's how the message of hiv prevention should be passed... By youth to youth
